We are never alone!

We often feel alone like no one cares and we don’t matter. Although God says, “I am with you and will watch over you where ever you go” (Genesis 28:15 NIV), we often think that no one knows the sorrow and the pain we experience. In my limited experience I have found that thinking of the footstep story about God carrying us when we have too much to bear helps. I know this to be true, because I know that there have been times in my life I could not have made it without God’s comfort and care. I know I could not have made it if God had not carried me. So I leave that thought with you. We are never alone. He is always around to carry us.

I agree with you so much, Kyli!
I think you are also beginning to see the beauty and amazing ability of the web to spread knowledge and engage in conversation.
You may also want to turn on comment moderation to protect from comment spam. Ask me in class how to do this tomorrow!

When I feel alone in my bed, unable to sleep and separated from the God I love, I think of the arms of Jesus–wide, wide arms (big enough for us all–arms made of soft, inviting charcoal-colored velvet. All around are millions of beautiful stars. I fall headlong into His arms, and there I sleep.
